There are 4 types of Malaria that Humans can contract

  1. Plasmodium Falciparum 
  2. Plasmodium Vivax 
  3. Plasmodium Malariae
  4. Plasmodium Ovale 

 

However, it is Preventable and Curable, with a combination of medicines and self-protective measures! 

 

So, how can YOU protect yourself against Malaria 

✅ “Using long-lasting insecticidal bed nets (LLINs)

✅ “Wearing long-sleeved shirts and long trousers 

✅ “Applying insect repellent to ANY exposed skin – especially at night 

✅ “Using indoor residual spray (IRS)
