Biography

Suzuka Ohgo (born August 5th, 1993) is a Japanese actress, known for the movie “Memoirs of a Geisha”(2005), the movie “The Kirishima Thing”(2012), which won three Japan Academy Awards.

She’s been acting since she was 6 years old. She has appeared in many movies and TV series, including the TV series “Sexy Voice and Robo” and the movie “Somewhere in Kamakura,” directed by Hideo Nakata.

In 2005, she made her Hollywood debut in the movie “Memoirs of a Geisha” directed by Rob Marshall for which she received a Young Artist Award. She played the young age of the main character “Sayuri”, played by Zhang Ziyi.

In 2016, she graduated from the prestigious, world-renowned Japanese university, Keio University.

She is very motivated to act and appeared in “Bullet Train Explosion,” which will premiere on 23 April 2025 on Netflix.

Suzuka said on receiving her certificate of appointment, “I look forward to shining a light on the health challenges children face in Africa. I will give my time to raise awareness and mobilise support in Japan and globally, helping AHO to reach the most disadvantaged children with lifesaving health and social care help and hope.”
