Sierra Schaffer

I am a Canadian in my final year of medicine at St. Georges University of London. This year I am intercalating doing a MSc in Paediatrics and Child Health: Global Child Health at UCL and Great Ormond Street Hospital. 

During my studies, I have taken statistics courses and led research projects across many areas, focusing on paediatrics, surgery, and emergency medicine as well as medical training and simulation. 

I have always had an interest in international healthcare aid and was inspired by the African Health Organization’s work. I am excited to apply my research and statistics experience to inform Policy and Research at the AHO.
