Country Director Uganda, Cardiovascular Diseases Needs Assessment
Since childhood, Ibrahim has been interacting with more knowledgeable, experienced and responsible people. This culture has helped him to develop a positive attitude in life, boldness and good characters including leadership and influence.
Ibrahim was born on July 26th, 1992 in Uganda. He holds a Master of Public Health and Health Promotion with Distinction from Brunel University London, United Kingdom (2020), an Occupational Health and Safety Professional certification from the OSHA Academy Health and Safety Training, USA (2019) and a Bachelors degree in Food Processing Technology with First Class Honours from Kyambogo University, Uganda (2016).
In Uganda, Ibrahim previous served Coca Cola Beverages Africa between October 2015 and September 2019 in various positions as a Quality Controller, Good manufacturing Practices Technologist and Team Leader Processing, where he contributed towards manufacturing of safe and nutritious beverages for Ugandans to meet their dietary needs and food preferences for active and healthy lives.
Currently, Ibrahim is working with the Nile International Hospital as an Operations Manager since January 2021 and the Africa Health Organization from September 2019 to present as a Research and Policy Officer and Cardiovascular Needs Assessment Officer. He is an active member of the Planetary Health Alliance, Public Health Professionals, Occupational Health and Safety Professionals, and the Commonwealth Scholarships Alumni Network.
Ibrahim’ goal is working with teams towards strengthening Health Systems in preventing disease, promoting healthy behaviours, prolonging and improving the quality of life in Africa and the rest of the world.
