Francesca Jacklin

Freelance Journalist

My name is Francesca and I am a recent graduate from University College London. I am deeply passionate about healthcare, and while studying Molecular Biology I specialised in infectious disease and virology. My dissertation, entitled ‘The Molecular Mechanisms of Ebola Pathogenesis and Therapeutic Strategies’ gave me an insight into the importance of good healthcare and I am keen to help make a difference to lives in Africa. I believe that accessible communication is an essential part of improving access to proper healthcare, and I am so excited to be a part of Africa Health Organisation to help write about important health issues affecting Africa.
