Gender Equality Policy and Strategy

Charlotte is currently studying an MSc in Politics of Conflict, Rights and Justice at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), after graduating from King’s College London with a BA in English Literature and Language.

Alongside working for AHO, she is a Research and Advocacy Intern for the ‘Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative’ (CHRI), working towards the eradication of contemporary forms of slavery and human trafficking. Charlotte also dedicates time to writing advocacy pieces on women’s human rights and justice internationally for ‘The IWI: Institute for Feminist Policy Reform’.

She is interested in the MENA region, with a special focus on gender and armed conflict.
