Ana Luiza Carrilho Licurci

Policy and Research

My name is Ana Luiza and I am a Social Scientist graduated at the University of Campinas, in Brazil. Throughout my degree, I developed a great interest for social research.  I worked on a research regarding consumption configurations in the former socialist Czechoslovakia. My research focused mainly on gender relations between women and consumption at that period. During my time at the university, I worked on different social organisations, contributing to many and diverse volunteer projects. I was also member of the Center of Studies of International Migrations, being responsible for the organisation of social and academic events regarding migrations in Africa and Europe.

Currently I am studying a MA in Human Rights at University College London (UCL). I am joining AHO as a Research and Policy Volunteer, hoping to contribute in the development of data and policy analysis in crucial issues regarding health, social configurations and economy.
