Policy and Research

Recent graduate in Japanese and History at SOAS, University of London. Through my degree, I have had the opportunity to study the history of medicine in a global context, with an emphasis on colonialism and nationalist health campaigns. I wrote my dissertation on gender and violence in apartheid South Africa. I also have experience performing health related research for MyWorld Health, where I performed research on healthcare and health outcomes in Japan. My particular area of interest lies in the relationships between health, public policy and gender, and I am excited to have this opportunity to deepen my skills and understanding. My ambition is to work in the fields of research and public policy.
