Policy and Research
I have a degree in Sociology from Goldsmiths, University of London. I am currently doing the Research Masters in Social Sciences at the University of Amsterdam. My main research interests are social policy and social inequality. I am delighted to be volunteering in Policy and Research for AHO, as I am keen to gain experience in how research and policy can contribute to positive change in Africa and the diaspora. I am very passionate about AHO’s vision, I believe optimal health and the quality of life it enables is a right for all and should not be a privilege. Moreover, although we have seen huge technological and medical advancements as well as an increase in wealth worldwide, we continue to see growing inequality. I therefore believe the coordinated, organised, strategic and interdisciplinary approach which AHO advocates is crucial
for a better, more equal future for all.
