Afro-Spaniards are Spanish nationals of West/Central African descent. They today mainly come from Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, Gambia, Mali and Senegal. Additionally, many Afro-Spaniards born in Spain are from the former Spanish colony Equatorial Guinea. Spaniards of Sub-Saharan ancestry originating in Latin America are generally excluded from this definition
AFRICA HEALTH ORGANISATION IN SPAIN
In Spain, AHO will do the following programmes:
- Set up offices in major cities with large number of Africans
- Work with Spanish government to provide health and social care to Africans
- Work in partnership with others to deliver projects in Spain
- Look for partnership in Australia to deliver projects in Spain
- To recruit skilled health workforce in Spain
- To set up health exchange programmes between Spain and Africa
- Create fundraising programmes to raise funds in Spain for projects in Africa
